What is Hope & Healing for Residential Care?

PeakCare is proud to deliver Hope & Healing, Queensland’s sector training, learning and development for workers supporting children and young people in residential care.

In partnership with the Queensland Government, we deliver the minimum qualifications standards training for the residential care workforce.

For more information on minimum qualifications, visit the Queensland Government’s website.

The Hope & Healing training suite includes a mandatory foundational course that establishes consistent approaches to care, and advanced learning and development opportunities, including Masterclasses, to enhance foundational knowledge.

The training is delivered online, with small group sessions available for provider-led delivery in consultation with PeakCare.

Masterclasses

Masterclasses are advanced development learning that build on foundational Hope & Healing learning.

Masterclasses focus on a key practice area and provide practical training, tools and guidance aligned to best practice in the Queensland context. Masterclasses are ideal for organisations looking to strengthen their team’s capability in a specific area, and for workers seeking concise practical learnings that directly supports day-to-day practice.
