Building capability, strengthening care, and transforming young lives across Queensland

Hope & Healing
Queensland's leading training for the care workforce
PeakCare delivers Hope & Healing, Queensland’s sector training, learning and development for workers and foster carers supporting children and young people in care.
Proudly supported by the Queensland Government, Hope & Healing has been developed with leading experts in child protection from all across Australia to reflect the latest evidence-based best practice in working with the most the vulnerable children and young people.

What is Hope & Healing?
Hope & Healing is the state’s mandatory online learning and development suite for foster carers and residential care workers. The training is intended to equip carers with the strategies and tools needed to respond to the needs of children and young people in their care, with a trauma-informed lens.
The training strengthens capability by providing a consistent statewide foundation for learning, supported by practical tools, reflective exercises and knowledge checks. The suite also includes advanced professional development opportunities, such as Masterclasses, designed to build on and deepen foundational knowledge and practice.
