Description: The Therapeutic Youth Worker delivers support to children, young people and carers within vulnerable Foster Care placements. A therapeutic care model is used to assist in their recovery from trauma, to develop positive behavioural change and promote their physical and emotional wellbeing. The Therapeutic Youth Worker will utilise the expertise of the care team implementing behavioural support and case plans to assist with stabilising the young person’s placement and supporting the child to reach their potential. Located on the Sunshine Coast, this is a casual position at Level 3 on the SCHADS Award plus salary packaging options.
