PeakCare – Sector Voices – In Conversation: What’s Changed, What’s Next

PeakCare warmly invites you to an update on work undertaken in the past year on our Sector Voices Action Plan. In 2024, PeakCare was thankful to undertake a sectorwide consultation on matters of priority for the child and family sector, to inform our work in the coming months.
This session will update you on progress against the Sector Voices Action Plan 2025 and explore its ongoing relevance and priorities for 2026 and beyond.
Aims:
- Identify how Sector Voices informed Commission of Inquiry into Child Safety (COI) submissions
- Share how Sector Voices informed meetings and discussions with Senior Department Officers
- Clarify the work of Preventative Peaks Alliance overlap
- Validate priorities with the child and family sector moving forwar
- Facilitate raising or challenging any priorities and if they need amending
- Hear from the sector on what is important to them for their peak body to be advocating for
- Reframe and reset future work from the Action Plan
