ACF, IFYS and PeakCare – Practical application of the Child Safe Standards for frontline staff (In-person)
Build confidence in child safety practice – in person, across Queensland
Thanks to the generous support of the Queensland Family and Child Commission, the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) is bringing its highly regarded Embedding the Child Safe Standards training to Queensland in 2026.
Delivered in partnership with PeakCare and IFYS, these practical, evidence-based in-person sessions are designed to support organisations at every stage of their child safety journey – building confidence, capability and strong child-safe practice where it matters most: in everyday work with children and families.
This in-person course is designed for operational workers and frontline leaders. Participants will complete one full-day course covering the 10 Child Safe Principles and a focus on recognition and response to risks, safe environments, effective application of policies and procedures, reporting obligations, and strategies to promote children’s rights and wellbeing in everyday interactions. Frontline staff will be provided with practical ways to bring the 10 Child Safe Standards to life in their daily work.
