ACF, IFYS and PeakCare – Child Safe Standards strategic implementation for senior leaders (In-person)

Build confidence in child safety practice – in person, across Queensland
Thanks to the generous support of the Queensland Family and Child Commission, the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) is bringing its highly regarded Embedding the Child Safe Standards training to Queensland in 2026.
Delivered in partnership with PeakCare and IFYS, these practical, evidence-based in-person sessions are designed to support organisations at every stage of their child safety journey – building confidence, capability and strong child-safe practice where it matters most: in everyday work with children and families.
This in-person course is designed for executive leaders and Senior Leadership Team. It will build governance capability, strengthen accountability, and provide leaders with strategic skills to embed child safety across their organisations.
A strong focus will be placed on Child Safe Standard 1 (governance and leadership), equipping leaders to exercise clear responsibility for child safeguarding, and Child Safe Standard 2 (children are safe, informed and actively participate), ensuring leaders drive cultural change that empowers children and young people to have a voice.
Topics will include risk management frameworks, aligning policies with legislative requirements, and leading workforce culture change.
Monday 23 February 2026 – 9.45am to 4pm
Brisbane CBD, $79 per person
