Nominations now open for 2019 QATSICPP Awards

The Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak (QATSICPP) is hosting the 2019 Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Child Protection Awards Night and nominations are now open for a Community Controlled organisation or person that has excelled in one of four award categories: Practice Excellence – demonstrating best practice in their direct service delivery to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and/or families; Cultural Leadership – demonstrating outstanding cultural leadership and mentoring within the workplace and/or community; Youth Advocacy – best outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people through strong advocacy skills; Innovation within the Sector – innovation within the sector to achieve best outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people. The winners will be announced at the Awards Night Dinner on Friday, 13th September at the Queensland Cricketers Club, 411 Vulture Street, Woolloongabba QLD 4102 for a 6pm arrival.
