How you can get involved in Queensland’s Residential Care Review

resireview1

The Queensland Government has announced a review into the residential care system. PeakCare and QCOSS are supporting the child, family and community sector’s engagement with the review and we want you to have your say to make sure it delivers positive outcomes for children, young people, families and the services who support them.

If you work in an organisation that supports children and young people, we’d love you to join us for two online forums facilitated by PeakCare Executive Director, Tom Allsop and QCOSS CEO, Aimee McVeigh to share your insights. The session will cover the review process, the key issues under review and be an opportunity for you to share your views to inform the review’s outcomes.

Register your spot to join us at one of two online sessions:

How else can you get involved?

You can send a formal written submission to the Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services via email at non-familybasedcareandtertiarysupportmailbox@cyjma.qld.gov.au.

Submissions and the Get Involved portal will be open until 29th September 2023.

You can also get in touch with the PeakCare team to share your ideas and thoughts by phone at (07) 3368 1050 or email at office@peakcare.org.au.
