Lighthouse Resources – Rebuilding Relationship after Trauma and Violence

Two day in-person workshop for professionals supporting relationship repair between the Parent Child/Adolescent Dyad

Lighthouse Resources presents Rebuilding Relationship after Trauma and Violence: ‘A workshop for professionals supporting relational repair between the Parent Child/Adolescent Dyad’

This workshop offers an opportunity to remember or to consider the potential detrimental impacts of growing up in a family system where there may be neglect, abuse, DFV, emotionally absent parent or similar. An opportunity to remember and consider the potential detrimental impacts on a child/young person’s development and subsequent patterns of behaviour.

This is a very practical experiential based training. There will be lots of opportunities to move and experience the activities, to connect with others and have some fun whilst exploring this weighty topic.

Note: When working with Domestic and Family Violence current best practice suggests that we only work building repair with Adolescent to Parent relationships once the violent partner is no longer in the relationship. Until that point safety is the paramount issue.
