The Queensland Government Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services (the department) wishes to advise of the release of an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Mount Isa / Gulf Family Support and Domestic and Family Violence Prevention and Support Services (procurement reference DCCSDS0111).
This EOI is the first of a two-stage tender process. The EOI will seek information from potential suppliers on their proposed solution to deliver some or all of the following service packages at locations in Mount Isa and the Gulf:
Package 1 – Family and Child Connect
Package 2 – Intensive Family Support
Package 3 – Service System Integration
Package 4 – Specialist DFV Services including Court Support
Package 5 – Afterhours DFV Response
Package 6 – Perpetrator Intervention Programs including Walking With Dads trial
The department believes that families and individuals with multiple and complex needs can best be supported by organisations working together in collaborative partnerships, so suppliers are encouraged to explore consortia or lead contractor with subcontracting arrangements with other organisations.
Suppliers that are shortlisted following the EOI process may be invited to take part in a proposed second stage of the tender process, anticipated to be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ process would request shortlisted suppliers to provide a more detailed proposal, including a fully costed pricing proposal. The anticipated outcome of the RFQ stage is to engage successful suppliers to provide the service/s for which they were shortlisted.
An industry briefing to discuss this EOI and the department’s requirements will be held in Mount Isa on Tuesday, 30th August. Details of the briefing will be posted as an Addendum to QTenders. The briefing will also be streamed live on YouTube for suppliers who are unable to attend in person. The YouTube link will be published as an Addendum on QTenders. Minutes of the briefing will also be published as an Addendum on QTenders. Suppliers that do not attend this briefing will still be eligible to submit a response.
The EOI documents are available for downloading from the Queensland Government QTenders website at https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/qtenders/.? The documents can be found by entering ‘DCCSDS0111’ in the ‘Search’ field at the top of the QTenders home page.
