A free culturally safe opportunity for Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander women to build community supports

Kurbingui Youth & Family Development presents Women’s Yarning Group

Numula Family Safety Response Program in partnership with Yeaca Dhargo, and Social, Emotional Wellbeing are hosting a Women’s Yarning Group. The Women’s Yarning Group provides a culturally safe, appropriate space for women to gather to share their knowledge, journeys, and experiences. 

The Women’s Yarning Group aims to strengthen the connections for the women of the community with Kurbingui programs and each other. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are invited to join.

The group will gather at 10am and have a yarn about upcoming sessions sharing ideas followed by a BBQ lunch at 12pm.
