PeakCare is pleased to advise that the Queensland Government has announced an increase to the 2024-25 state indexation rate to 3.94% in line with the recommendation from this year’s Fair Work Commission’s Annual Wage Review.

The new indexation rate will apply to all eligible state government funded contracts from 1 July 2024.

PeakCare welcomes the Premier’s Office and Queensland Treasury commitment to addressing increasing cost challenges squeezing many community organisations by increasing indexation in line with recommendations.

Along with promised measures in this week’s Budget and the recently announced increase to minimum wage and Award rates, today’s announced indexation contributes to bolstering the aspirations of our sector’s dedicated and driven workforce.

We look forward to working with government to ensure child and family sector organisations are adequately supported to deliver critical services to promote thriving futures for all Queenslanders.
