World Social Work Day 2022

PeakCare supports World Social Work Day, today 15th March 2022. This year’s theme is Co-building a New Eco-Social World: Leaving No One Behind. In light of devastating recent global events, as well as those closer to home, this year’s theme is a poignant reminder that we are all in this together.

World Social Work Day offers the opportunity to celebrate the invaluable efforts of the social work profession in connecting and supporting all Australians.

View more on the AASW website, including a message from International Social Work Federation‘s Asia Pacific President, Rose Henderson, on the importance of WSWD2022.

And don’t forget to tune in to a virtual panel discussion hosted by AASW at 8pm (7pm QLD time) that will explore the intersectionality of sustainable development goals in the context of social work.
