Workplace health and wellbeing in October: Mental Health Week

Mental Health Week is a national event held annually in October, and aims to promote the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the general community while reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Workplaces can get involved by solidifying their understanding of practices supporting mental wellbeing with various resources and events – many free to attend – including: the World Mental Health Day breakfast with Queensland Mental Health ambassador Hayley Lewis; webinars on preventing workplace burnoutregulating mentally healthy workplacessuicide prevention for at-risk industries and making workplaces more inclusive for neurodivergent workers.
