Women and homelessness annual forum

Meet and interact with peers and colleagues to share and discuss your challenges and experiences, forge new connections and grow your support nework in the community and homelessness sector at the 11th Annual Lady Musgrave Trust Women and Homelessness forum. Held at Queensland Multicultural Centre at Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, on Wednesday, 7th August, the forum will bring together experts to provide relevant advice and updates on issues, provide a platform for improved collaboration on issues, and share new ideas that can be leveraged to improve the lives of the women that have become or are about to become homeless. Keynote speakers include Madonna King – accomplished journalist and author; Dr Paula Barrett – internationally recognised, groundbreaking researcher in the field of psychology and resilience; Dr Ruth Knight – Post Doctoral Research Fellow, The Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, QUT Business School; and Kim Richards MP – Member for Redlands, Queensland Parliament.
