Volunteering Queensland has launched a new Resource Central with the latest resources and research to support volunteers in organisations. A number of new resources covering engaging young volunteers, corporate volunteering, work experience, placement or internship, working with older volunteers have now been released, and updated information on insurance.
Not-for-profit Law has produced a National Volunteer Guide for organisations that provides an overview of the key legal obligations organisations owe volunteers and practical examples, template documents and tips to assist in their understanding. It also steps out the corresponding Standard as stated in the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement. View the guide.
