Victim Assist simplification of application process 

Victim Assist Queensland has updated their website to include clearer instructions about how to submit financial assistance applications, including how to prepare to complete the application form, how to fill in the form and specific information making applications for people who have impaired capacity or child victim. View the website. The verification of identity process has also been simplified to require only photocopies, scanned copies or photographs of identity document(s). Service providers will also now be able to provide special primary victim reports via a simple report form that can be completed on a computer, tablet, smartphone or by hand.
