The Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Taskforce (the Taskforce) is a Queensland Government Board established as part of the Queensland Government response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. The Taskforce will be holding a series of community forums across Queensland throughout the year for people with lived experience of institutional child abuse, their supports and service providers. The next forum will be held in Mackay on Friday, 21st April and offers the opportunity to hear directly from Mr Bob Atkinson on the Royal Commission.
