The Queensland Government’s new Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Taskforce, established in 2018 in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, will be hosting a free forum to discuss learnings from Canada and Australia on institutional child abuse. The forum will feature Dr Marie Wilson, former Commissioner Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, and Mr Bob Atkinson, former Commissioner Royal Commission into Institutional Child Sexual Abuse and Chair, Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Taskforce. The Forum will be held Wednesday, 4th September at Room Three Sixty, Brisbane City. RSVP online by Wednesday 28th August.
