Tackling online bullying – funding now available

The closing date for applications to the Tackle Cyberbullying Grants Program has been extended to midnight Sunday, 21st July. The program offers young Queenslanders aged 10-17 years and community organisations the opportunity to apply for grants to develop and deliver local initiatives – such as organising games and activities, sharing informative resources or creating art, developing apps or campaigns – to address online bullying in their community. Grants of $500 to $1,500 are available to young Queenslanders, while community organisations can apply for grants of $1,500 to $5,000. Young people will need a sponsoring organisation – such as a sporting group, community organisation or school P&C – to assist them with managing the grant funding. Find out more and apply.
