Special thanks!

Our special thanks for making Queensland’s Anti-Poverty Week a memorable event go to Tony Wren, the Executive Director of Anti-Poverty Week and her staff for their coordination and support of the Anti-Poverty Week Committees throughout the country; NAPCAN’s Helen Fogarty who, along with PeakCare’s Lindsay Wegener, co-chaired the Queensland Anti-Poverty Week Committee, and all members of the Queensland Committee including representatives of Micah Projects, Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership, 54 Reasons (Save the Children), Mission Australia, Act for Kids, The Benevolent Society, Wesley Mission, Anglicare Southern Queensland and QCOSS. These Committee members are thanked for the many regional and local events they each held to celebrate and promote Anti-Poverty Week and their collaborative efforts in promoting the Week via social media and their own networks. A job well done!
