Discover how to develop a proposal that gives you the best chance of success in a competitive funding environment by attending a Skilling Queenslanders for Work workshop in 11 locations around Queensland. QCOSS is partnering with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training to help community-based organisations respond effectively to funding applications for the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. A representative from the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training will be present to answer any specific questions about the programs that come under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. After the workshop, stay on for QCOSS Connect, a free, one-hour event where you will hear what QCOSS has been up to, learn about the issues that are currently affecting communities and the community service sector in Queensland, and have an opportunity to provide your feedback. Attending a workshop will provide you with the opportunity to network with other participants, learn from their experiences and meet possible contacts for your Skilling Queenslanders for Work project. If you are unable to make it to a workshop, the webinars will provide you with the skills you need to write an effective proposal. For locations and to register, visit the website.
