Royal Commission’s disability issues paper released

The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability has released an issues paper barriers to education and learning faced by those with disabilities. Research suggests that children with disability experience higher rates of suspension and expulsion from schools and that children with disability may be excluded from school activities, such as excursions and sports carnivals. Responses to the paper can be provided either by email to DRCEnquiries@royalcommission.gov.au or by mail to GPO Box 1422, Brisbane QLD 4001.
