The principal purpose of QATSICPP is to, above all, promote and advocate the rights, safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children, young people and their families through effective partnerships and strategic collaborations. They provide leadership in advocacy and the development of policies, strategies and programs to resource, support and strengthen the capacity and capability of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community controlled child protection agencies in the interests of children, families and communities.

or over half a century Queensland Council of Social Service (QCOSS) has promoted social justice in Australian society. Their state-wide membership of over 650 supports work toward a fair, inclusive and sustainable Queensland. QCOSS exists to: provide a voice for and with Queenslanders affected by poverty and inequality, lead on issues of significance to the social, health and community sectors state-wide; and contribute to a national voice on these issues through membership of the nationwide network of state and territory councils and the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS).

QFKC is a non-government association providing advice, support and advocacy to all foster and kinship carers in Queensland. While carers receive their day-to-day support through their care service QFKC can be accessed to assist in more complex matters and can also provide advice that assists carers in interpreting policy, procedure and legislation into everyday care.

Originally established as QAIHF (Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Forum), the organisation provided a voice for the community controlled health sector in Queensland. This organisation was self-funded until 1996, when the Commonwealth Department of Health started to provide funding support. QAIHC has experienced considerable growth in membership and the services provided to those members since its establishment. In 2004, the organisation was reconstituted under the Australian Investment and Securities Commission (ASIC) and assumed its current form as QAIHC. Today, they represent 27 community-controlled health services and have a number of associated members who share a passion and commitment to addressing the unique health care needs of their communities through specialised, comprehensive and culturally-appropriate primary health care.

QAMH represent more than 100 organisations and stakeholders involved in the delivery of Community Mental Wellbeing Services across the state. As the peak body for the Community Mental Wellbeing Sector in Queensland, our role is to foster sector excellence through our leadership, influence and collaboration with our members and strategic partners.

ECCQ has been working directly with Queenslands many communities since 1976. Every year, they help thousands of people from all backgrounds, across all of Queensland. Their focus is supporting and advocating for the needs, interests and contributions of culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Queensland.

A statewide coalition of organisations & individuals advocating for and with disadvantaged, marginalised and homeless young people and supporting the services that work with them. QYHC is self funded for housing and homelessness work and reliant on community donations to continue this. They are funded by the Queensland Government to resource and support the Youth Support Coordinator Initiative around the State.

Q Shelter aims to improve access to, and quality of, housing for vulnerable Queenslanders. Their goal is to create a robust community housing system, supporting people experiencing homelessness, and creating stronger communities in Queensland.

Community Legal Centres provides support and advocacy for 34 independent, community-led community legal centres operating across Queensland. Queensland’s community legal centres provide free information, legal assistance and referral, representation and casework, community education and advocacy for vulnerable clients and communities facing legal problems.

COTA (Council on the Ageing) Queensland is a statewide not for profit organisation giving older Queenslanders a voice on issues that affect them.

FIN’s mission is to ensure that parents and family members have access to the information, support and advocacy they require to actively and equitably participate in the child protection process.

Volunteering Queensland is the lead organisation solely dedicated to advancing volunteering for the economic, social, cultural and environmental well-being of Queensland.

CREATE Foundation is the national peak consumer body representing the voices of children and young people with an out-of-home care experience.
