Reminder – Nominate and recognise a young achiever

The 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards are now open for nominations. The Awards are designed to acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of all young people in Queensland up to and including 29 years of age across eight categories. Categories include the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award, Regional Achiever Award, the Online Achievement Award and the UQ Create Change Award. Find out more and nominate – and don’t forget you can also refer a nominee if you want to recognise someone but don’t have the time! Category winners will each receive a trophy and $2,000. The Queensland Young Achiever of the Year will receive an additional $2,000 as well as a state trophy. Nominations close Thursday, 12th December.
