Reminder – Meeting of residential care providers being convened by PeakCare on Thursday, 15th June
Senior representatives of organisations providing residential care providers are reminded about the meeting being convened by PeakCare at 2pm on Thursday, 15th June at the PeakCare Office. This meeting is being held to engage in a preliminary exploration and identification of issues that may need to be factored into the implementation plan for the introduction of a minimum qualification for residential care workersannounced by the Honourable Shannon Fentiman MP, Minister for Communities, Women and Youth, Minister for Child Safety and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence on 31st May. This meeting will also be used to provide advice about some revamping of the project currently underway to develop the training and professional development strategies to support implementation of the Hope and Healing framework arising out of this initiative.
