Reminder: How prepared is your workplace for managing domestic and family violence experienced by employees?

Responding to domestic violence at work takes a coordinated approach across all levels of your organisation including management, human resources and employees. Basic Rights Queensland, The Services Union and DV Work Aware, sponsored by the Office of Industrial Relations, are offering free workshops tailored specifically to community sector workplaces around understanding best practice in preparing for and responding to domestic and family violence (DFV) in the workplace. The workshops can be delivered as one-hour sessions for workplaces, or full-three hour training sessions for managers and supervisors. The training will help staff have practical knowledge to address workplace issues concerning those experiencing DFV. Find out more or contact Jen Carmen from Basic Rights Queensland to book.
