Qld Residential Care Review: child, family and community sector survey

SA_Survey_MailChimp

Recently, the Queensland Government has announced a review into the out-of-home residential care system. To facilitate engagement across the sector, PeakCare and QCOSS are seeking input from residential care providers and community organisations on the needs, challenges and opportunities for young people being supported in residential care in Queensland.

We want to ensure everyone supporting children and young people has the opportunity to take part in the review and contribute to delivering positive outcomes for children, young people and their families. To share your insights on the support needs for young people in care, please find the link to the survey here.

Reminder: PeakCare & QCOSS will be holding two online forums in the coming weeks. Led by PeakCare’s Executive Director, Tom Allsop and QCOSS CEO, Aimee McVeigh, each session will cover the review process, the key issues under review and provide an opportunity for you to share your views. Click your preferred time to register for a session:

Thursday, 31st August at 1pm to 3pm – Residential Care Review: Child, family and community sector session (Statewide Focus)

Monday, 11th September at 10am to 12pm – Residential Care Review: Child, family and community sector session (Regional Focus)
