QCPW 2020 grants close tomorrow

The Queensland Child Protection Week (QCPW) Committee is accepting applications for Activity, Regional and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Grants.

Activity Grants of up to $1,000 are available to non-government organisations, community organisations and networks for events designed to positively support the theme, messagesf and aims of QCPW.

Regional Grants of $5,000 are available for each of the five regional areas of Queensland (North Queensland, Central Queensland, Moreton, South East and South West). Funding submissions must reflect collaboration with a minimum of five other agencies within the region and must address selection criteria.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Grant of $5,000 will go to a not-for-profit community group to enhance and promote child protection messages within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The lead organisation applying for the grant should be an Indigenous organisation. Applications must address selection criteria.

Applications will be considered as scheduled with the hope that QCPW will proceed as usual in September. Should it become apparent this is not possible, QCPW will work with grant recipients to postpone to a suitable date.

Find out more and apply. Applications close 5pm tomorrow, 15th May.
