The 2018 Queensland Public Guardian’s Excellence Awards are open for nomination for staff within the community services sector in one of three categories: promoting the voice of a child or young person in decision-making; elevating the rights and/or aspirations of clients in disability funded services; or reduction and/or elimination of the use of restrictive practices by a non‑government organisation. Nominations close Friday, 16th February, and can be lodged online here.
