ProCare Australia is seeking a permanent, full time People, Engagement and Wellbeing Business Partner located at Milton to assist with services provided by a Queensland-wide domestic and family violence helplines, Womensline and MenslineSexual Assault Helpline for anyone who has been impacted by sexual abuse, including friends and family of survivors of assault, whether recent or historic and also provides VictimConnect, a new program supporting people impacted by violent crime in Queensland, and clinical oversight as well as specialist counselling services under the National Sexual Assault, Domestic and Family Violence Counselling Service, 1800RESPECT.

About the role –

The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a positive workplace culture through the implementation of wellbeing initiatives. Serving as the primary point of contact for all employee-related queries, concerns, and issues, the incumbent will foster open and effective communication with all DVConnect staff, contributing significantly to the overall positive work environment. This role holds a key responsibility for supporting and building the capability of managers which includes enhancing team performance, fostering a positive culture, and developing the necessary skills within their teams.

The role involves ensuring the regular monitoring and implementation of HR policies and regulations, with a specific focus on maintaining the Learning and Development platform. The HR Business Partner will manage change processes, ensuring compliance requirements are met during onboarding and maintained throughout the employee lifecycle. Providing employment relations advice, the HR Business Partner interprets relevant awards, the Fair Work Act, and the National Employment Standards as needed. The role extends to offering support to the Head of People, Engagement, and Wellbeing in delivering strategic initiatives and projects, demonstrating a commitment to the overall success and growth of the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of HR policies, regulations, and employment laws, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical skills for reporting and analytics, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities are key qualifications for success in this role. The HR Business Partner will be a pivotal figure in contributing to the organisation’s strategic initiatives and ensuring the continuous development of a positive and thriving workplace culture.

Salary and Benefits

  1. $110,000pa + Super
