‘It is a good opportunity for organisations as well as individuals to comment on the wish list we have generated and/or to add some more wishes of their own. During an election campaign, it is silly to not take advantage of opportunities to impress upon politicians and their advisers the strength of opinion held about issues of importance to our sector. Peak bodies may be able to facilitate this to some extent, but we need the support of our members to do it well. It is not a good time to stay silent. It is an excellent time – no better time – to speak up and be heard.’
