Submission to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee in response to the Social Services Legislation Amendment (Cashless Debit Card Trial Expansion) Bill 2018

On 2nd August 2018, PeakCare lodged a submission to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee in response to the Social Services Legislation Amendment (Cashless Debit Card Trial Expansion) Bill 2018, which seeks to expand the cashless debit card arrangements to a further trial site, to run until June 2020, specifies the class of trial participants for the area (Newstart, Youth Allowance (Jobseeker), and Parenting Payment recipients aged until 36 years), and increases the total number of trial participants, among other amendments.
