Submission to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee in response to the Commonwealth Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse Bill 2017 and the Commonwealth Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2017

On 2nd February 2018, PeakCare lodged a submission to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee in response to the Commonwealth Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse Bill 2017 and the Commonwealth Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2017. The Bills implement the Commonwealth’s response to recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse’s Redress and Civil Litigation Report by establishing the Commonwealth Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse.
