Submission in response to the Youth Justice and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2015

On 26th January 2016, PeakCare lodged a submission in response to the Youth Justice and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2015 introduced to Queensland Parliament in December 2015 to repeal reforms effected by the Youth Justice and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2014 in light of evidence that increasing the severity of punishment is ineffective in reducing recidivism, particularly for children and young people.
