PeakCare is cognisant of the fact there are significant differences in the level of awareness held by non-government organisations about the nature and extent of these challenges – ranging from fiercely aware and concerned through to having minimal or no awareness at this stage. First and foremost, a major purpose of the forum is to raise the level of awareness of options and potential challenges. Appropriate insurance poses a critical issue for our sector as not having the right insurance will have the potential to expose agencies to significant financial and reputational risks.
