It is once again that time of the year when PeakCare is seeking the nomination of candidates to receive one of our illustrious Awards.

Having gone through a year beset by some enormous challenges, we are sure that there are many individuals and groups who have risen to the occasion and met these challenges with all the passion and determination needed to count them worthy of being nominated. Then, of course, there are those who have given a lifetime of dedicated service who are also deserving of all the accolades and praise we can heap upon them.

In answer to the question that PeakCare is often asked about whether someone who has previously been nominated or received an Award can be nominated again, the answer is an unequivocal, YES!

The Award categories remain the same as previous years and include:

To be awarded to an individual, workgroup, organisation, alliance or collective for innovative or exemplary design or delivery of services to Queensland children, young people, parents and/or families.

To be awarded to an individual, workgroup, organisation, alliance or collective for their recognition and promotion of self-determination by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in relation to the safety and wellbeing of their children, young people and families.

To be awarded to an individual, organisation, alliance or collective for their advocacy and influence in achieving improved outcomes for Queensland children, young people, parents and families.

To be awarded to an individual for their lifetime contribution to the wellbeing of Queensland children, young people, parents and families.

All nominations must be received by no later than
COB Wednesday, 6th April 2022

All persons submitting nominations must confirm that they have received permission from the candidates before submitting their nominations. All nominations will be published on PeakCare’s website. The award recipient in each category will be selected by a mix of votes from our eNews subscribers and an esteemed judging panel. Announcement of the Award recipients and those who receive Special Commendations will take place, in keeping with PeakCare’s custom, at an extremely glamorous night of celebration to be held on 1st June 2022.
