Mark Jeffery
Mark Jeffery has worked in both mainstream media and the not-for-profit sector for over thirty years. As a multi-award winning broadcaster, he has worked with ABC and commercial radio as a journalist, presenter, producer and online reporter.
He most recently worked with regional ABC radio in Adelaide, regional South Australia, the Northern Territory and North Queensland for seven years before returning to Brisbane to work with PeakCare and the non-government sector. Mark’s work with the not-for profit sector has involved over twenty organisations providing media support for comprehensive advocacy and awareness. He has spear-headed major campaigns such as Anti-Poverty Week, Cost of Living Report, State of the Family and Family Matters. He has worked with peak bodies such as QCOSS, SNAICC and church community service organisations. In his spare time Mark treads the boards on the stages of amateur theatre companies. He is also an avid reader who loves travel and usually has sights set on his next journey of discovery.
