Executive Director, Service Strategy and Growth – Act for Kids

Tom McIntyre has dedicated 26 years of his career to child protection, making significant contributions to the field. Beginning his journey in tertiary child protection and youth justice, Tom spent 18 years addressing complex issues in the field and advocating for vulnerable children, young people and families.

Tom has worked with Act for Kids for 8 years and is currently in the role of Executive Director for Service Strategy and Growth. He leads initiatives aimed at enhancing the support systems for children, young people and families in need and creating impact using contemporary, evidence-based models focused on the discrete needs of children.

His extensive experience and commitment to improving outcomes and partnering with all levels of government and sector partners has made him a respected leader in the field of child protection.
