Online resources for practitioners supporting children and families

The government funded parenting website Raising Children has launched two new portals for practitioners working with children and families. A new mental health resource hub is now available, providing an easy-access one-stop-shop evidence-based toolkit on child, teenage and parent mental health and wellbeing. Practitioners can use the toolkit to quickly connect families with impartial information. The First 1000 Days portal similarly links practitioners with useful resources to support parents and carers for the first 1000 days of a child’s life (from conception to the age of 2 years), which forms a crucial foundation for lifelong wellbeing. Information about the value of the first 100 days prefaces the resources.
