Family Matters Queensland and the State Government are seeking nominations for the Queensland First Children and Families Board. The Board will oversee the implementation of Our Way – A generational strategy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families 2017 – 2037 and Changing Tracks – An action plan for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families 2017 – 2019. Expressions of interest are being sought from experts and leaders with professional and personal experience in influencing change for First Nation children and families across family support, child protection, social and emotional wellbeing, education, community development, domestic and family violence, early childhood development, law/justice, and housing.
