Nominations open for Disability Support Industry Reference Committee

The Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) is now accepting nominations for membership on the Disability Support Industry Reference Committee (IRC). The IRC will be responsible for reviewing and updating national training package qualifications, skill sets and units of competency needed by the disability support sector over the next five years in relation the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Positions open for nomination are: 2 disability service providers, 1 rural/remote disability service provider, 1 assistive technologies expertise, and 1 consumer advocacy group/body. For further information regarding the IRC structure and to submit a nomination, visit the IRC website. Nominations close Tuesday, 23rd April.
