QCOSS is seeking nominations for this year’s Queensland Community Impact Awards across three areas: Community ImpactFrontline Hero, and Human Rights. Winners will be announced at the Community Services Celebration Dinner on Wednesday, 7th September, during the 2022 QCOSS Conference in Brisbane. This year, the conference will explore Power and Politics of the Care Economy, with a range of sessions examining the broad trends impacting community services, including the future role of the care economy in Queensland, advancing gender equality, the Path towards Treaty, and the implementation of the Human Rights Act 2019 across the community services sector. Featuring the first line of guest speakers including Australian of the Year 2021 Grace Tame, political reporter Amy Remeikis, and QHRC Commissioner Scott McDougall.
