New program to assist CALD individuals prepare for employment

Step to Work is a new job preparation program to help people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds gain the skills and confidence to commence work in Australia. The program will help participants access local job pathways, provide networking opportunities, develop job application and interviewing skills, and build confidence in digital literacy. The program includes different workplace site visits where participants can gain real-world knowledge of employment options across a range of industries, and support for up to 8 weeks, over two days a week (Thursdays and Fridays). The program begins Thursday, 14th July.
