The Department of Justice and Attorney-General is currently accepting applications under Round 2 of the 2022 Investing in Queensland Women grant program. Grants are available to community groups and organisations across the state’s urban, rural and remote communities to develop and deliver initiatives that address the unique issues faced by women and girls. One-off grant funding will be made available to support initiatives delivered between January 2023 and June 2023, such as events to recognise Queensland Women’s Week (during March 2023), International Women’s Day (8 March) or Domestic and Family Violence Awareness Month (May). Projects must align with the purpose of the grants program, that is to help deliver community events or initiatives and strengthen partnerships, relevant to achieving gender equality and preventing all forms of violence against women. Find out more.
