SNAICC has been engaged by the Department of Social Services (DSS) to identify the key barriers that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) can face when accessing Commonwealth Government funding for children and family services. This is part of a measure to improve funding to ACCOs under the new National Agreement on Closing the Gap. SNAICC is seeking input through an online survey to inform recommendations to DSS on how to remove these barriers and improve funding systems and processes. The survey is open until Monday, 20th June. View the explanatory statement for more information or take the survey. Any queries can be directed to the research team by phone to (03) 9419 1921 or by email to emily.armstrong@snaicc.org.au.
