National Child Protection Conference

Registrations NOW OPEN

Registrations for the National Child Protection Conference being co-hosted by PeakCare, the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak (QATSICPP) and the Child and Family Welfare Association of Australia (CAFWAA) are now open. This important conference forms part of Queensland’s BIG WEEK that will consist of not one, not two, but three big events:

  • National Child Protection Conference (24 & 25 June)
  • Advocacy Masterclass led by Professor Cindy Blackstock (26 June), and
  • QATSICPP Members’ Conference (27 & 28 June).

DO NOT MISS OUT – REGISTER NOW AT THE DISCOUNTED EARLY BIRD RATE! Click HERE to register!

If you wish to also attend either the second or third of the BIG WEEK events- the Professor Cindy Blackstock Masterclass on 26th June and/or the QATSICPP Members’ Conference on the 27th and 28th June, click here.

SHAME FILE – shape up Queensland!

Thank you for the many submissions of abstracts for the Conference. PeakCare is loath to admit it, but Queensland is currently being outshone by some other States including, can you believe it, Western Australia! Shame! Visit the website to submit an abstract and your suggestions for the Conference Program by no later than COB Monday, 29th April.

Sponsorship opportunities now open

Encourage your organisation to join Child Wise, Churches of Christ Care, Foundations Care, Life Without Barriers, The Benevolent Society, and YCSS Child, Youth and Family Intervention Service in becoming a sponsor of this exciting event. Visit the website for the details about how your organisation can become a sponsor.
