Queensland Health advice
This advice concerns:
- recently revised restrictions for staying home and going out in Queensland, and
- how you can obtain answers to queries you may have about what the Chief Health Officer’s Public Health Directions mean to you and your work, by accessing this online portal.
Human rights and COVID-19
Information is presented about:
- key points to consider when decisions are being made to ensure that they remain proportionate and compatible with human rights
- resources available to help organisations build their human rights knowledge and capability that can be accessed from the Queensland Government’s human rights website and the Queensland Human Rights Commission, and
- the Commission’s offer of free webinars (weekly until the end of June), online modules and resources for assessing acts and decisions for compatibility.
Please note that there are, unfortunately, no more places available for people to attend the HUMAN RIGHTS in the child protection context – Are YOU up-to-date? videoconference session being hosted by PeakCare in association with the Queensland Human Rights Commission on Wednesdsay, 6th May. PeakCare will look for opportunities to host additional sessions as soon as possible.
Daily COVID-19 stakeholder bulletins
Advice is provided about how you can access daily (Monday to Friday) COVID-19 stakeholder bulletins from the Queensland Government’s COVID-19 website. These bulletins overview key developments over the past 24 hours, current Public Health advice and updated information on government services and financial and community assistance.
COVIDSafe app
Advice is provided about how you can find out more about the COVIDSafe app recently introduced by the Australian Government to assist in reducing the spread of coronavirus through early notification of possible exposure, by clicking here. The app can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
