Homeless Connect – free support services for those at risk of homelessness

Homeless Connect is a free family-friendly event for people experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness. Those in need can access a meal and free support services, including haircuts, legal help, medical care, clothing and accommodation referrals. The event will be held at Brisbane Showgrounds, Thursday 19th May, 9am to 2pm. Homeless Connect offers free bus services on the day, return to Aspley, Zillmere, Sandgate and Nundah. View the bus schedule. You can support the event from by taking non-perishable food and toiletries to your local ward office or Brisbane City Council library, or by volunteering your professional services on the day. View the website to be involved.
