Have your say

The Queensland Government is reviewing the Disability Services Act 2006 to ensure it adequately reflects the changing landscape of disability support as the National Disability Insurance Scheme is rolled out across the state. You can have your say by attending a forum (to be held in Brisbane on Monday, 29th October 10am-12pm), participating in a webinar, completing an online survey or submitting a formal submission to submissions@communities.qld.gov.au by Friday, 9th November.

The Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD) Sector Collaboration Survey aims to assist Queensland Network of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies (QNADA) to gain a better understanding of support provided to clients from non-AOD services. Responses will be used to help QNADA identify how it can better help people experiencing AOD issues and where QNADA can target cross-sector workforce development efforts. At the completion of the survey respondents can also opt to go into the draw for a $200 gift voucher.

Foster Care Queensland is conducting a survey to better understand the views and experiences of carers in Queensland. The aim of the survey is to identify strengths and areas of concerns to carers, so that  better support can be provided to carers that will promote and enhance the lives of children and young people in care.
